In plain words. Everything here is free and offered in good faith for anyone who finds it useful. We have tried hard to make the games accurate and well built, but they come as they are. Use them, enjoy them, and please do not copy them wholesale or use them to cause harm.
1. Agreement
By using pilgrimsranch.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. If a child in your care uses our games, you agree to these terms on their behalf.
2. What we provide
This is a family website with a journal of our homesteading life and a set of free educational games — currently covering typing, reading and mathematics. Everything is offered at no charge and with no account. We may add, change, or remove anything on the site at any time.
3. Educational content is not professional instruction
Our games were built for our own children and are shared in the hope they help yours. They are a supplement, not a curriculum. They are not accredited, they do not meet any particular state's requirements on their own, and they are not a substitute for a teacher, a tutor, or professional educational or developmental advice. We make no promise about learning outcomes. You remain responsible for your children's education.
We have taken care with correctness — the mathematics is machine-verified and the scripture is quoted from a published translation — but we cannot guarantee that every question, answer or explanation is free from error. If you find a mistake, please tell us and we will fix it.
4. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- Copy, republish or redistribute the site or the games as your own work.
- Sell or commercially exploit any part of this site without our written permission.
- Attempt to interfere with the site, probe it for vulnerabilities, or disrupt it for other visitors.
- Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download the site.
Reading, playing, and sharing links with other families is exactly what this is for, and is always welcome. Teachers, co-ops and homeschool groups are welcome to use the games with their students.

6. Your device and your data
Our games save progress in your own browser's storage. We cannot see it, restore it, or transfer it between devices. Clearing your browser data will erase it, and we cannot recover it for you. Please treat saved progress as something that lives on that one device.

7. Availability
We make no promise that this site will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. It is a family project run at our own expense, and we may take it down, move it, or change it without notice.
8. Links to other sites
We link to a small number of outside pages, such as our Facebook page. We are not responsible for their content or their practices.
9. No warranty
The site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pilgrim's Ranch and its owners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use this site. Because the site is provided free of charge, our total liability to you for any claim relating to it is limited to zero dollars.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
