How to play
Each player gets four cards face down. At the start of every hole you look at two of them, then turn them back over: remember them! On your turn, take the top card of the deck or the discard pile. Swap it for one of your four cards (the old one goes on the discard pile), or throw it away. When you think your four cards add up to less than everyone else's, knock instead of taking a card: every other player gets one last turn, then everyone turns their cards over. Two, three or four can play. Lowest total wins the hole, and the lowest total after all the holes wins the game.
What the cards are worth: Ace 1, two to ten their number, Jack and Queen 10, King 0. Our house rule: the black joker is a Birdie, minus 1, and the red joker is an Eagle, minus 2.
